Yes — the first wave releases September 16, 2026, and European retailers are receiving and listing stock right now. This is the first Pokémon TCG expansion in history to launch simultaneously worldwide, so Europe does not wait behind Japan or North America.

Two things make this launch different from a normal set release, and both change how you should buy:

• The lineup is staggered across five waves, not one drop. Products arrive on September 16, October 2, October 30, November 6 and December 4. If you miss the first wave, three more are coming — panic-buying on day one is rarely necessary.
• There is no standalone booster box in the international lineup. Japan gets a 20-pack booster box at ¥7,200. The announced international product list does not include one. The closest equivalent is the Ultra-Premium Collection—Day & Night with 29 booster packs plus 1 Classic Collection pack, and it does not arrive until November 6.

• Dedicated TCG shops — Usually the first to list and the most reliable on allocation. They often cap quantities per customer, which keeps scalpers out and works in your favour.

Cross-border buying is the single most underused tactic in Europe. Most EU retailers ship to neighbouring countries in 1–4 days, and shipping is often cheaper than the premium you would pay locally once your own country sells out. What actually works on a global simultaneous launch day:

1. Set alerts before, not during. On release day the listings that matter go live and sell out inside minutes. If you are still configuring notifications when stock drops, you have already missed it.
2. Have accounts created and addresses saved. Guest checkout costs you 60–90 seconds. That is frequently the entire window.
3. Do not chase one SKU across ten shops. Buy the first legitimate listing you find at retail. A confirmed ETB beats three abandoned carts.
4. Watch the second and third hour, not just the first minute. Many European retailers stagger their launch-day listings through the morning, and cancelled pre-orders get released back into stock throughout the day.
5. Check neighbouring countries the moment your own sells out. Local sell-outs almost never happen continent-wide at the same time.
6. Keep a budget for the later waves. October 2 and November 6 bring the two best pack-value products in the lineup. Spending everything on September 16 is a mistake.
